20th – 24th October 2021 – Part of the Burren Winterage Weekend
This year’s Burren Winterage School will be a welcome opportunity for farmers, researchers, policymakers and others to come together again ‘in-person’ to share updates and discuss some of the ever-pressing issues around sustainable farming in Ireland. It comes at a critical time, with the upcoming CAP Strategic Plan, the recently published Food Vision 2030 strategy and a raft of EU and Irish initiatives aimed at improving our environmental performance. This year’s school will hear about innovative regional approaches – with input from some of the 50+ EIP-AGRI projects in Ireland – as well as hearing from farmers on the ground as to how they see their future. An intimate event taking place in the picturesque bayside village of Kinvara and featuring the very best of homegrown talent, this promises to be a wonderful occasion for learning, networking and inspiration.
