A Wild and Wonderful Heritage Week with Burrenbeo Trust!

Burrenbeo Trust had a great Heritage Week 2018.  Burren Wild Child event in Carron on 22nd August saw an enthusiastic bunch of young investigators scavenging for clues to help them understand the story of this wonderful place. The Burren Conservation Volunteers had a glorious BCV Volunteering Open Day on 25th August. Huge thanks to the BCV committee for sharing their experience and leading volunteer groups! Thanks to the Burren College of Art for hosting us and to the Heritage Council for supporting our work. If you would like to join the BCVs, please click here.

September Members’ Walk

Burrenbeo members’ walk on Sunday 5th of September, ‘Nature’s Secret Treasure Trove’, was a fantastic introduction to Dromore Woods Nature Reserve. Many thanks to National Parks and Wildlife Service Education Guides Rónán O’Brien, Stephen Lester and Niall O’Reilly for leading the walk. If you would like to join the October members’ walk in the Burren, please click here to become a Burrenbeo Trust member.

BCV invite you to join the National Big Beach Clean at Fanore

National Big Beach Clean – Sat 15th September – 11am at Fanore Beach.

Come and help the BCVs continue their work on the edge of the Burren clearing plastic and other rubbish from the Burren coastline. Don’t forget: every piece of plastic removed from the coast means one less bit in our oceans! Sign up for the Burrenbeo Trust volunteer mailing list at volunteer@burrenbeo.com
